Utsukushii Kare (My beautiful man) BL drama cd summary translation #track 2

English and Japanese are not my first languages so please pardon any mistakes in grammar, spelling, or dictions. Some parts are written based on my memories. I may  make a revision time to time. Some of the dialogues are not translated word to word but interpreted. It's also possible that I make small mistakes in translating >~<

Blue italic: Kiyoi's inner voices.

Track #2 has Kiyoi POV but early arc is overlapped with Hira's pov on disc 1. So I will include it (without Hira's inner voices). It starts after ep 3 in the drama. 

I think the live action drama will have a lot of change, I am curious and excited where it leads. It seems like it will totally be Hira POV so I made a summary of Kiyoi's POV to give some insight. However once again, the live action may be deviated a little. Kiyoi in the drama cd is calm and playful while in the live action has mysterious aura. This drama cd has some good lines, I am sorry if I can't convey it well.

Summary (with tiny portion of  dialogue)

Kiyoi told his family background. Kiyoi's parrents were divorced. His mom only came home very late at night. Lonely Kiyoi spent a lot of his time outside with his friends. Whenever it's time for him to come home, he turned the tv on for a whole time for the background noise, he slept late just so he can spend a short time with his mom.

His mom was married again. He spent happy time with his mom and step father. However when his little step sister was born, he felt lonely again and spending his time a lot on watching tv again. During this time he wanted to be somekind of idol on tv. Idol is admired, has fans, surrounded by people.

*One of the reason he is attracted to Hira because Hira was obsessed with him. He is also in Shirota's group eventhough he don't really like them because he doesn't want to be alone*

Kiyoi wondering why there was no contact by Hira after the graduation. One day, Kiyoi who worked as a stage actor, happened to hear a conversation of his co-workers (A stage director; Koyama Yohei(??)). This person said that his brother in the college (Koyama Kazuki) has been seeing a college mate named Hira. Kiyoi was surprised hearing the name and joined the convo to find out more. He revealed here that he was also a gay.

Kiyoi requested for a photo of the stage director's brother and his possible bf. As expected it's the Hira he knows but he kept it as a secret from his co-workers.
"Why did he smile proudly in this photo? What's with the plain looking guy beside him? Is it because of this guy, Hira didn't contact me?"
 Koyama Yohei expressed that he was actually worried of what kind of guy(Hira) his brother seeing. Kiyoi suggested to invite both of them to the stage performance next month.

Kiyoi and Hira had a reunion after the performance (Hira's point of view in disc #1). Kiyoi was very sure he already won from Koyama because Hira still looked at him with the same lustful and passionated eyes. Koyama was also looked speechless seeing how intense Hira staring at Kiyoi. However when he invited Hira to come to the after party, despite enthusiastically saying yes, Hira didn't go, instead he heard from Koyama's brother that Hira spent time (Koyama's birthday) with Koyama Kazuki (I will just call him Koyama from now on) on that day.

Kiyoi thought Hira was no longer interested in him but then Hira came again to another stage performance.Hira came in disguise but Kiyoi recognized him. He teased Hira "Where's your lover?"

Hira explained that he and Koyama were not dating but being misunderstood as so. Then Kiyoi invited Hira to another after party. Hira came and here, Hira happened to hear a circulating rumour of Kiyoi and Iruma (popular senior stage actor) and that it's an open secret that Kiyoi's a gay.

When the party was over past the midnight, Kiyoi invited (again XD) Hira to spend time at the cafe waiting for the first train departure. Here they talked about a lot of things. Kiyoi's main job is modelling but he tried acting. When the topic jumped into college days. Hira sighed, he said he was no longer bullied but having to interact with people is a burden as well esp dealing with romance. Kiyoi guessing if Hira found Koyama who approaching him was troublesome. Strictly, Hira refuted that. "Koyama is nice, composed, etc~" Hearing Hira praises somebody else that much, Kiyoi was jealous
Kiyoi: "Date him then, a person who likes you may not appear before your eyes again". *Then what are you Kiyoi?*

Annoyed, Kiyoi turned his attention to his stage scripts. The conversation then moving to Kiyoi's career. He said he curently looking for a place to practice his role. Hira mentioned about his uncle that moves to Taiwan thus leaving a big house empty. Hira would try to use that place for Kiyoi (in the drama ver, Hira lives alone from the very start). Hira gave Kiyoi his numbers on a paper. Kiyoi noticed that Hira has a new number. (In the dramacd, Hira's phone fell into the water, Hira changed his numbers and didn't contact Kiyoi for some reasons). Kiyoi gave Hira his number as well. Hira was very amused.

When they about to leave, Kiyoi asked Hira "What will you do after this?" Hira answered that he would take train to go home but Kiyoi said it was not about that, he asked if Hira would date Koyama and shyly, if Hira liked him or Koyama. Hira was confused why Kiyoi suddenly asked that, unable to answer, making Kiyoi left somewhat angry.

Actually in Kiyoi POV, he desperately wished Hira would answer clearly that Hira liked him more, in that case Kiyoi would kiss Hira again and make a fresh start however he was mad because Hira said his relationship with Koyama has nothing to do with Kiyoi. He was embarassed because it seemed like he was the one misunderstood Hira's feeling here. Kiyoi lied to himself that he may mistook his feeling for Hira as well.

One month passed but there was still not a contact again by Hira. Because of his high pride, he also didn't want to call Hira first. However day by day he became more and more frustated as there's still not even one call coming. That's when he got a random idea of pretending making a wrong number call.

Kiyoi was convincing himself "I am not the one making the call, it's just a mistake" XDXD
Still he felt nervous when he gave Hira one ring call.

His plan went well, Hira called him back in a second.
Hira: "K-Kiyoi, this is Hi-Hira, Hira Kazunari"
Kiyoi: "Oh~ It's been a long time. What's up?"
Hira: "You just called me, what's happened?"
Kiyoi: "A call? I must have mistook your number with my friend's. I didn't call you on purpose" (Kiyoi's acting here XDXD)

Hira then informed Kiyoi that recently he was busy moving to a new place. Apparently Kiyoi's new place to practice (Hira's uncle house as well as Hira's new house) is ready. Kiyoi was upset that if Hira went that far to prepare him a house, why didn't he call him sooner.
Hira: "Whenever you are ready, you can come here~"
Kiyoi: "Tell me where the place is. I am going to go there, now, immediately"

They met at Hira's new resident.

Hira didn't call him sooner because Hira thought Kiyoi was very upset at the cafe last time they met. Moreover Kiyoi happened to mention to Koyama's older brother that in the high school, Hira had an unrequited love and kept saying "You are beautiful~" to somebody. The older brother interpreted it as a stalker behaviour so Hira was afraid if it's revealed the person he chased was Kiyoi, it would cause a problem and bad experience to Kiyoi.

The more they talk, the more Kiyoi loses his coolness. He didn't want to make it like he was the one who desperately wanted to see Hira again but Hira was really dense and trying his patience.

After his mom went back home, Hira explained to Kiyoi that it's not like he wanted to ghost Kiyoi by changing his numbers. Hira did not contact Kiyoi again for Kiyoi's sake.
Kiyoi: "How could you think that way? I just said a simply 'See you again'
Hira: "But it looked like you were mad at me"
Kiyoi's thought: "It's all because I was embarassed, read between the lines!"
Hira: "Can I ask one thing? What did you mean by "See you again!"?
Kiyoi: "See you again is see you again, see you next day, see you next time, what else it could be?" angrily
*Actually the literal translation of "Jaa, mata na" is "See you again" but it can also be taken as a casual "Goodbye!" Hira interpreted it as the latter.
Kiyoi: "Will a person who doesn't want to see someone again, kissing him?"
Hira: "I thought it was just a 'feel sorry' kiss"
Kiyoi: "How far can you go being a negative thinker. How could I kiss you just because I pity you"
Hira: "Then, why did you kiss me?"
Kiyoi was very upset here XDXD, "This fool, think about the meaning by yourself! Is there any other answer!?"

Kiyoi however just swallowing back the words and sighing deeply, saying he would just going home. Hira offered Kiyoi a spare of the house key. Kiyoi said he would take it but he didn't want to see somebody else in that house esp because he may date Koyama in the future.

Hira ensured Kiyoi that he didn't have any romantic relationship to Koyama.
Kiyoi: "But you praised Koyama so much last time"
Hira: "Koyama is really a nice guy, but I won't date him"
Kiyoi: "Why?"
Hira: "That's not something that can be openly discussed with anybody"
Hearing that Kiyoi was upset again XD
"It's not like I want to make a fuzz about people business, why can't you catch my real intention!"

Kiyoi: "What am I to you?"
Hira: "A person I like the most in the world"
Kiyoi: "Then have you ever thought about dating me?"
Hira: "No"
Kiyoi: "Why?"
Hira: "Because Kiyoi is my king"
Kiyoi: "HAH?"
Hira: "You are like a lord to me, there's not my place as a servant to do that. To put it simply, I am like a captain duck. Long time ago, captain duck was drifting in a muddy sewer but eversince he serves the king, he's sailing in the golden river. Blabla bla~"
What kind of a nonsense is he talking about?

Kiyoi was fed up and about to leave the house when Hira catched him again to give him a spare of the house key.
Hira: "You can come here anytime"
Kiyoi wanted to reject it and forget Hira but in the end, he accepted the keys.
Hira: "I will come back again".
"So this must be what love is. My body acted by its own"

So Kiyoi came time to time to practice his stage performance. He even left his belogings there. He was happy he lived such a peaceful day with Hira.

One day Kiyoi just came out of shower topless. Hira was seen very nervous.

(Looking by his reaction) He's must be a virgin but that is not my place to laugh at. People usually do it with someone they like. By this flow, my first experience would be with Hira too. Well it can't be helped (since I like him)" laughing through the nose.

Hira asked if it's okay to take a photo of Kiyoi with his camera, Kiyoi agreed. Then Hira noticed that Kiyoi's nails are long already. He asked if Kiyoi would let him cut his nails. Jokingly Kiyoi said "Okay". He didn't expect that Hira really mean it and cut his nails. The steamy part came after this.

When Hira cut Kiyoi's feet nails, Hira accidentally cut them too short. Kiyoi screamed but said it's okay but out of the blue Hira sucked Kiyoi feet nails to stop the bleeding XDXD to which Kiyoi was very shocked (and also the listeners, aren't we?).

Hira then noticed Kiyoi had a boner. Kiyoi blamed it to Hira. Hira offered to take the responsibility for him.
Hira: "If you allow me, I will do it. If you don't want to, I won't do it"
Kiyoi: "It's not like I don't want to"
Hira then did the BJ for Kiyoi.

I don't translate the sex scenes in this dramacd hehe Anyway after Kiyoi was done, Kiyoi also noticed that Hira had a boner. He said he would do the same for Hira but Hira rejected him. Hira hurriedly went to the toilet to release his. Kiyoi was upset because how in the world, Hira did it by himself when he just offered to do it.

However Hira thought Kiyoi was upset because Hira did it by imagining Kiyoi. Hira clarified that he released it by thinking about somebody else. It made Kiyoi even more upset.

Ever since that day, time to time, Kiyoi approacing Hira and gave him an "I like you" signal but Hira was always freaked out by the unsual act even his kitsuon made a come back because he was very nervous by Kiyoi's move. Being dense as he is, he couldn't catch Kiyoi intention leaving Kiyoi's strategy failed.

Kiyoi went to the promised casual date with Iruma. Iruma asked him if he had someone he's dating. Kiyoi said "Well, I was told that he likes me above anything~"

Kiyoi's mind then wandering to Hira. Many times Hira did bj for Kiyoi but Hira didn't let him do the same. Their relationship isn't going to anywhere. It seemed like Hira probably wouldn't ask him out in years.

Kiyoi released a deep and long sigh. Iruma teased and made a move on Kiyoi. Kiyoi rejected his move.

Here, Kiyoi realized that he didn't want any love but Hira's. He yearned for a passionate and lustful love (obsession) only Hira can give.
"I want somebody who loves me foolisly. Somebody who looks only at me. Only Hira fits that role."
He made up his mind to confess his love to Hira first.

Kiyoi pulled himself together and came to Hira's house to confess but when he opened the door, Hira's college friends were gathered there. Koyama was there as well. They came because Hira suddenly said he would stop being a photography club member.
Kiyoi realized that Hira might do it to avoid Koyama for Kiyoi.

Being his usual self, Hira offered to make a meal for Kiyoi if he didn't like the bought snacks. Koyama noticed that.
Koyama: "Depite knowing each other for a long time, Kiyoi and Hira are more like Master-servant than a friends"

Kiyoi was upset because what Koyama said was nothing but true. So he purposely held Hira's hands. Hira was surprised and looked uncomfortable, he was afraid it would tore down Kiyoi's reputation if it's seen by somebody. Kiyoi: "I said it's okay"

Koyama however coming back from the toilet, saw that and asked Kiyoi to give Hira a space since Hira was uncomfortable XD. Kiyoi was upset again and said he would be by himself.

After Hira's friends and Koyama went back to home, Kiyoi demanded Hira to treat him normally like how he did with his friends.
Hira insisted that it's impossible.

Kiyoi: "What am I to you? We are not just merely a friend right? But we are also not lovers"
Hira quickly cut Kiyoi "Yes, that's impossible
Kiyoi was annoyed by Hira's answer, he kissed Hira, Hira reacted to his kiss.
Kiyoi: "Won't people who are not lovers do this?"
Hira however apologized "I'm sorry I won't do that again" (hugging and kissing back Kiyoi)
Kiyoi: "That's not what I mean"
Hira cut off Kiyoi's words: "It's my rudeness"
Kiyoi: "Why did you say like that? we even did way more than this"

Hira explained that Kiyoi was not someone he could do such a thing. He even felt guilty when he masturbated by using Kiyoi's photos in the past. Kiyoi said he didn't mind about it but Hira kept saying he was very regretful doing that and hated himself because of that. Hearing that, Kiyoi realized that he did not stand at the same ground with Hira.

Kiyoi: "Have you ever wondering if I ever in love with you?"
Hira couldn't catch the meaning and it made Kiyoi very dejected.

Kiyoi: "I won't come here again"

Kiyoi wondered if Hira ever liked him as a person. Hira must have falling in love with "His own ideal image of Kiyoi" not the real Kiyoi. *Well it's true though rather than love, Hira had a limerence (google about this if you haven't know >~<*

Kiyoi returned to his home crying. He determined to forget Hira by making himself busy. However everytime he returned to his empty house, he ended up remembering about Hira again and felt depressed. He kept ensuring himself that he can move forward and forget Hira.

However Hira went to Kiyoi's afterparty again to return his belongings. Kiyoi reacted coldly to him. Hira asked Kiyoi if there's something that he did that made him super mad however Kiyoi kept saying that he just didn't want to see Hira again. Hira said he also wanted to forget about Kiyoi but he couldn't after so much times they spent together. Hira didn't want to part with Kiyoi while  Kiyoi remained wounded.

Kiyoi blurted out that Hira probably didn't care about him anyway. All he cares was just "his ideal image of Kiyoi" 

 Kiyoi: "I am not a king. I am just a normal man who wants to go on a date, want to touch and be touched by the person I like"
Stupid Hira asked Kiyoi "You have someone you like?"
Kiyoi yelled "It was you! Why are you just asking now?!"

Hira was shocked and thinking Kiyoi just fooling around with him XD

Kiyoi further explained "Did you remember I kiss you? I have liked you for a long time. Do you know how I feel when you change your phone number? Even though you kept saying that 'I like you~ I like you' to me. It makes no sense"
Hira: "But how can Kiyoi liking a person like me?"
Kiyoi: "That's my question as well!"
Kiyoi was dumbfounded why he became this way because of love, they kissed and even did more things above that, still they couldn't be a lover, that fact makes him dejected.
Kiyoi: "You don't understand, do you?".

Hira: "Yes I couldn't understand you. Kiyoi also can't relate to my feelings, right?"
Kiyoi: "What?"
Hira explained that Kiyoi was always in the top social rank while he wasn't. He always admired Kiyoi, then in his gloomy world, Kiyoi presence saved him. It was Kiyoi who made him fight back againts Shirota. Because he admired Kiyoi so much, Kiyoi's presences turned into a "God image" somekind sacred.

Kiyoi: "But I am not a God..."

Both of them just crying and said no words for a while.

Hira: "Can I touch you now?"
Kiyoi: "No if it's the same way as before"
Hira: "If Kiyoi allowed it, I want to touch Kiyoi like a lover"
Kiyoi: "Then.. you can"

Hira hugged Kiyoi for the first time.

Both of them came to Hira's  house together.
Hira: "Is it okay to abandon the after party?"
Kiyoi: "If you insist then I will go"
Hira: "NO!" XD 

Then Hira kissed Kiyoi.
Kiyoi: "At least do it in the room!"
Hira: "I can't, I always wanted to touch you but I kept resisting my self. I can't hold my self any more than this"
Soon they had a passionate sex XDXD Apparently Kiyoi was a bottom. Again, it has a lot of dirty talk and the sex scenes was long. Hira kept asking if he was dreaming. The next morning, they woke up together. Kiyoi still thought Hira was weird but he already fell for Hira and can't help it. 

Sorry if the ending was rushed. It really ends in the morning after sex lol and I haven't revisited this part again.

So yeah this is not a fluffy romance story, it's a bit dark but somewhat realistic. You can see that Kiyoi is insecure and thirsty for affection due to his childhood while Hira has low self esteem and objectifying his limerence.
